Meet The Team
Erica- Office Manager
Joining the dental field in 1993, Erica graduated from Greenville Technical College earning her Diploma in Applied Science with a secondary focus in accounting. She received her Dental Assisting National Board Certification in 1994. Erica started her dental career as a Pediatric Dental Assistant where she had the opportunity to help launch 2 successful pediatric practices over the past 25 years. Beginning as a dental assistant and advancing in her roles from clinical management to her current position as Office Manager here at Pickens Family Dentistry, Erica’s hands-on experience gives her a comprehensive perspective on administration and team building.
Erica has been a Breast Cancer Survivor since 2021 but her greatest sorrow was the loss of her “daddy”, her biggest hero, to lung cancer in 2022. She views life through a different lens seizing opportunities in the moment and stepping off the shore to discover new oceans. She married the love of her life and best friend, Patrick, in 2023. Together they share 4 beautiful children, Luke, Faith, Reeves, and Ashlyn, a daughter in-love, Rileigh, a new grandson, Riggs and 2 grand-dogs—Charley and Waylon.
Away from the office Erica is an active member at Pathway Baptist Church, enjoys spending time with her family at the beach, lake or around the table for food and fellowship. Her favorite things are cooking for crowds, reading, road-trips with her hubby, girl nights with her life-long best friend, Tonya and being a new “Grammie”.

I am blessed to work alongside Dr. Jennifer Wickenhoefer and the dental team at Pickens Family Dentistry.”
Faith – Lead Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Faith joined the Pickens Family Dentistry team in 2023 with a servant’s heart to “only fill-in” for our “Cancer Survivor” team member who was having yet another surgery. Faith came on board as a licensed cosmologist, with an associate’s degree in business looking for a career change and has risen above and beyond every expectation. She is now our Lead Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. From assisting in procedures and ordering supplies to lending a helping hand with administrative tasks, Faith manages to do it all with a vibrant energy.
A native to the Upstate of South Carolina, Faith enjoys spending time on our beautiful lakes boating with family and friends and having her toes in sand on the beach. She’s a dog-mom to an incredibly silly yet athletic Labradoodle, Charley. In addition to her many crafts, Faith is also a talented nail technician, specializing in “Builder-Gel Nail Art”.

Tina – Registered Dental Hygienist
With 45 years of experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist, Tina has been brightening the smiles of patients at Pickens Family Dentistry since 1980. It’s no secret that when our patients walk through the door they immediately look for “Mrs. Tina” and yes, you guessed it, she knows everyone and their families. Tina not only fills the role of our lead hygienist, working closely with Dr. Wickenhoefer to provide the best preventative care and treatment of oral diseases, but she is the segway of bringing the history of Pickens Family Dentistry to the present day.
An interesting fact about Tina is that Pickens Family Dentistry is where she met her husband Blair of 40 years. Together they have served in ministry for over 38 years, in SC, Nebraska and the past 19 years at Zion Hill Baptist Church in NC. They were blessed with 2 wonderful children, Lucas and Christen; however, Tina is now embracing the joys of being “Nonna” to her grandchildren Margo and Noah! When it’s time to just get away from it all, Tina enjoys reading, spending time at the beach and late afternoon walks with Blair and their grand-dog Scout.

Shana – Registered Dental Hygienist
Shana joined the Pickens Family Dentistry team in 2024 with nearly 25 years of experience in dentistry. As a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH), she specializes in the prevention and treatment of oral diseases, working closely with the doctor to provide integrated care. Shana’s purpose and passion for helping others, building meaningful relationships with patients and providing a stress-free environment shows in every aspect of her daily life.
Being deeply rooted in the “big town” of Six Mile, Shana is proud to embrace a quiet, simple country life, with her junior high school sweetheart-husband Jeff, of over 27 years. Together they serve in ministry at Keowee Baptist Church. They have 2 children – Eli and Emmie and a Boykin Spaniel fur baby -Bo. Shana enjoys a vibrant outdoor life gardening and raising chickens on her mini farm, as well as soaking up every opportunity to spend time with family at the lake, the beach or cheering on her Clemson Tigers!

Brandi – Administrative Patient Check-Out Coordinator
Brandi Pitts joined the Pickens Family Dentistry team in 2018. She currently serves in the position of our Administrative Patient Check-Out Coordinator. She helps keep the office running smoothly by ensuring patients are prepared for their visit and most importantly does all of it with a welcoming smile and understanding of each individual patient’s needs. Brandi is also an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant and graciously crosses over into that position when needed.
Married to her best friend, Brody, they have 2 beautiful children, Keith and Sunnie Layne, 2 dogs and a police K-9. Brandi is a “girly” true southern girl who loves all things PINK, spending time with her immediate and extended family at the beach and around the pool!
